Another episode of rants about doulas from a doula to other doulas. Would you want to a doctor to give you dated information if you went it for stomach problems? No, so why should we feel we can do the same? This week’s episode is about making sure the information you give out to clients is up to date and non-bias related.

I know people have bad days but gosh sometimes I want to say can you just smile and act nice. It’s important to think about the age, the kind of birth, and other considerations when having a consultation with a client.

I know that the holiday season can make it hard to say yes to too many things and push aside your plans and time with family to be at birth or take that client's call. Today let’s talk about how to make sure you have that time with family and how far in advance you should let your clients know.

We have been talking about making goals, but how do you know where to start? We are talking about four helpful things to consider when picking what goal to start with. All the goals we want can happen in 2024, but let’s figure out a plan to make it less overwhelming.
